OnFire Books: What’s your story? Why did you write your book?

Dr. Chalmers: I have been working with and observing individuals for over a decade and I have seen the same problems coming up over and over again. Many of them have the same core reasons for their issues and no one is addressing it.  Several of these issues should be known and addressed, however, they are not like osteoporosis and low testosterone. They are unknown to most patients.

I wanted to find a way to get the information out to as many people as possible so that we can all get a little more direction to help solve our problems. Helping a few people here in my clinic is great but the idea that I can help thousands and perhaps millions is too important to pass up.

OnFire Books: What is your passion and expertise?

Dr. Chalmers: My passion is helping people and looking at problems from a different angle and finding problems no one else has thought of. My expertise is physiology and understanding how the body works and why it stops working. With this we can determine how to make changes either medically or naturally that guide the body back where it needs to be.

OnFire Books: How can it help mentor others?

Dr. Chalmers: Allowing people to understand how their body works, and why some things work for them and some do not, helps them take more control over their lives and health. Many times people feel helpless when it comes to weight loss or weight gain, addiction, mindset and overall wellness. This book will help people begin thinking in a way that will allow them to gain the control that can eliminate the feeling of hopelessness.

Planning is a big part of success! When you understand that there is a way to take control and make things work for you instead of against you, then you can truly change your life.  Helpless is hopeless – but control can make the difference and end that cycle that normally ends in depression and anxiety. This is my mission.
